When you use StarMani, we collect:

• Account Information: Phone number and, where you choose that sign-in method, basic account information supplied by Firebase or Google.
• Birth Details: Date, time, and place of birth for chart generation.
• Profiles: Multiple profiles (e.g. family members) with privacy settings.
• Reading, chat, and feedback content: Questions, AI responses, optional life events, and feedback you submit. This may include personal or sensitive information that you choose to provide.
• Payment Information: Processed by Razorpay. We store order IDs only.
• Technical and usage data: Device/browser information, IP address, log data, and how you use the Service. We use this to operate, secure, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your birth chart and provide astrological analysis.
• To manage your account, credits, and payment history.
• To provide and maintain chat, profile, connection, and WhatsApp features you choose to use.
• To protect the Service, investigate fraud or misuse, and meet legal obligations.
• To send service-related notifications.
• To improve and maintain our platform.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (including Firestore) and protected using reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit where supported by the service.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase: Authentication and data storage.
• Razorpay: Payment processing.
• AI providers: To generate a reading, we send the relevant chart data and the question or content you submit to the AI provider configured for that feature. We do not intentionally submit this data for model training; the provider processes it under its applicable terms and data-use policies.
• WhatsApp (Meta): We provide services via WhatsApp Business Platform. Messages are processed to generate AI responses.

5. WhatsApp Messaging

• We collect your phone number and message content to provide astrological analysis.
• Responses are AI-generated for educational and entertainment purposes only.
• We do not share your WhatsApp messages with third parties except our AI service provider.
• You can opt out at any time by sending “stop” to our WhatsApp number.
• We do not initiate messages unless you message us first.
• Message history can be deleted on request.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained while your account is active. A signed-in user can schedule account deletion from Settings. Deletion is completed after a 30-day recovery period; signing in or messaging the linked StarMani WhatsApp agent during that period cancels the request.

Public links are revoked when deletion is requested. After the recovery period, active account and authentication data is removed. Restricted copies of identity, payments, credits, predictions, conversations, and related records may be retained in a developer-only audit archive and are not available to a later account created with the same email address or phone number.
